CETEGO Ethical Hacking, Training, Education and Gaming

The Cybersecurity Edutainment, Training, Ethical Hacking and Gaming Group, CETEGO for short, is a working group aiming at gathering, coordinating and fostering the cybersecurity training and education initiatives as well as the ethical hacking. In 2020 CETEGO members took part in several initiatives related to the working group topics. These activities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • IT: the annual workshop dedicated to the white-hat hacking and CTF community.
  • IT is co-located with ITASEC and in 2020 we had the second edition.
  • M0lecon: the security conference and CTF organized by Politecnico di Torino and its student team pwnthem0le.
  • A NERD DOGMA: an escape room, quest CTF that have been used for several live and online events.

For 2021 CETEGO members plan to extend the number of ongoing initiatives. In particular, we plan to start a survey about CTFs organized by the Italian universities. The goal is to foster possible synergies between the members.
